Overview
In this final assignment, you will continue to make explicit connections between your own
theoretical orientation and your level and context of practice. Be sure to draw on all of
your work and study done up to this point, particularly the Week 8 assignment.
Instructions
The four main bullet points below correspond with the grading criteria for your
assignment:
● Explain the practical application of your individual theoretical perspective
based on personal experience.
○ Provide examples, including specific situations, of how you apply
your theoretical perspective.
○ Analyze a scenario from your own practice experiences that clearly
demonstrates the application of your chosen theoretical orientation.
● Analyze how your individual theoretical perspective has further evolved based
on your participation in this course.
○ To analyze is to break something down into its parts and examine the
parts carefully and in detail; the goal is to identify the essential
elements and to learn what they do and how they relate to one
another.
○ In this case, youwill analyze your own thoughts, ideas, and
experiences in this course; your consideration or reconsideration of
specific theories; and the evolution of your own perspective.
● Write content clearly and logically, following the rules of grammar, usage, and
mechanics.
○ Grammar refers to the basic rules for how sentences are constructed
and howwords combine tomake sentences (for example, word
order, case, and tense).
○ Usage refers to correct word choice and phrasing, particularly with
regard to themeanings of words and phrases.
○ Mechanics refers to correct use of capitalization, punctuation, and
spelling.
● Support main points and assertions with relevant and credible evidence,
correctly citing sources using current edition APA format.
Requirements
To achieve a successful project experience and outcome, you are expected tomeet the
following requirements:
● Written communication:Written communication is free of errors that detract
from the overall message.
● Font and font size: Times NewRoman, 12-point font.
● Page length: 5 double-spaced, typed pages. Include a title page, but do not
include an abstract. Note that the title page and reference list are not counted
in the page requirements.
● References: 7 resources, using both books and recent peer-reviewed articles,
referenced in current edition APA style and format.
● While many doctoral assignments are expected to bewritten in the third
person (that is, without any reference to yourself), in this assignment you are
asked to write about yourself, so writing in the first person is appropriate in this
assignment.
